Mountainfest will be held June 21 at Fort Drum, and the event is open and free to the public. Adkins is known for hits such as "Honky Tonk Badonkadonk," "Ladies Love Country Boys," and "You're Gonna Miss This."

Adkins is the 2013 winner of the "All-Star Celebrity Apprentice," hosted by President Donald Trump.

Country singer Jackie Lee will also perform at the festival.

The all-day Mountainfest includes the Adventure Zone, which offers ATV rides, archery and a rock-climbing wall, opening at 1 p.m. A car and motorcycle event also will be held during the day.

The Salute to the Nation tribute will begin at 4 p.m. and the concert begins shortly thereafter.

Headliners in previous years included musicians Lee Brice, Kip Moore, Chris Cagle, Craig Morgan and Jake Owen.
