5 last minute DIY gift ideas for Mother's Day under $15

If you are anything like me you might find that you are a procrastinator. Doing things at the last minute cause one to focus or fold. With less than 2 days to go I will share some of my favorite last minute gift ideas from some DIY Facebook groups that I frequent often. Not including basic tools like your glue gun and scissors, these last minute crafts will cost less that $10 at your local dollar tree.

Below, Stephanie Harris shows us how to make this beautiful candlestick creation out of a glass Dollar Tree candle holder, a butterfly candle glued on top with a bow to embellish. You can easily take this idea and perfect it to your recipient's taste.

Next, Amanda Daniels brings mom a Dollar tree flower puppy shown below and adds a tutorial for us to learn this cute project! https://youtu.be/N42mqGAS7pA. This project runs about $12 total.

For a clever and quick craft also under 4$ Serena Bennett took a frame a gift bag and made a classy gift with a floral theme, almost better than flowers!

A sweet gift for your sweet girl could also mean a practical candy holder made from a teapot like the one found on hative.com. With savvy planning, you can stay under $15

Last but not least, use your imagination. Grab a Dollar store basket, fill it up about $12 work of trinkets and a $1 card and you have a DIY gift made from the heart just for your loved one. Focus!

We would love to feature some of your DIY Mother's Day creations right here on Military Area Guide so that we can showcase them for next year. Send your well-lit photo and creative information (if you have a website you must be registered on xatablast.com/mag to include that too) to photo@militaryareaguide.com subject: DIY Happy Mother's Day
